Calando v1.1.1
Calando is a small application that gradually fades your system volume
over a specified period of time. It was written so that I could fall
asleep listening to iTunes, and have the volume gradually be reduced
as I slept.
Installation
Drag Calando to your Applications folder. To uninstall, just move Calando to the trash.
Usage
Calando has only two options, ending volume, and duration. The ending
volume slider allows you to select what the final system volume will
be after the time specified in the duration field. The final volume
selection can range between mute (all the way to the left), and no
change (all the way to the right).
Troubleshooting and Contact Information
I've been using Calando for quite some time, but it isn't very
well tested on other machines or audio setups. If it doesn't work
for you, please send an email
to scsibug@imap.cc with the
following information:
- MacOS X version number
- Macintosh model
- Anything peculiar about your audio setup
License
Calando is distributed under the 3-clause BSD license. See the
file "LICENSE.txt" in the source distribution for a copy
of the license text.
Acknowledgements
Great thanks to Michael C. Thornburgh for the MTCoreAudio
framework. It provided invaluable examples of how to use the
CoreAudio framework for volume adjustment.
Thanks to Remko Tronçon for his Makefile to generate DMG images,
and his binary builds of darcs.
